The Gold Label 817e sports sleek visuals that channel its throwback inspiration, including a four-piece Simons wedge back configuration, grained ivoroid body binding with ivoroid and Honduran rosewood edge trim, a single-ring rosette in paua and Honduran rosewood, Continental fretboard inlays in mother-of-pearl, Gotoh 510 tuning machines in antique chrome with ebony buttons, an engraved faux-tortoiseshell pickguard, and a full-body gloss finish.
