A founding member of Our Native Daughters and an alumna of The Carolina Chocolate Drops, she has also received acclaim for her solo work, including Vari-Colored Songs: A Tribute to Langston Hughes and Breaking The Thermometer. This album continues her tradition of creating deeply meaningful and genre-defying music.
