Rising For Sunset (2021 Reissue) - Gene (Vinyl)

This is a double 2021 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Rising For Sunset by Gene. The British rock group was formed in 1993, they released four studio album and went on to score 10 top 40 hits. This is their live album recorded live in the Troubadour in Hollywood Los Angels on the 1st and 2nd June 2000. The show was broadcast over the internet in what was then a record-breaking webcast, screened to at least 60,000 people worldwide. Only two months after the recording of that show, Gene released Rising for Sunset, a live album recorded from that Troubadour show. The webcast and album were promoted with a pioneering international internet-only campaign resulting in 40k units sold upon its universal release.
