This is a 2016 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Morrison Hotel by The Doors. The American rock band originally released their fifth studio album on February 9, 1970, via Elektra Records. Produced by Paul A. Rothchild, the album was recorded at Elektra Sound Recorders in Los Angeles. The album was immediately certified gold by RIAA in February 1970 before reaching No. 4 on the Billboard album chart in March during a 27-week stay. Additionally, it became the band's highest-charting studio album in the United Kingdom, where it peaked at No. 12.
