Ideal for professionals as well as hobbyists, the new MEINL Travel Series Rope Tuned Djembes offer the classic djembe sound similar to the company's famous fiberglass drums; the only difference is they are 20% lighter. Made from ultra-lightweight material, these drums are very easy to carry but still maintain a profile of sharp slaps and deep bass tones, making full use of a synthetic head and carefully designed shell. These comes with pre-stretched HTP nylon ropes to better hold the tuning as well as a non-slip rubber bottom to protect the drum from scratches.
