Live At Leeds - The Who (Vinyl)
This is a vinyl LP pressing of The Who's iconic live album, Live At Leeds. Released in the United States on May 16, 1970, it was the first live album issued by the rock band while their renowned lineup of Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle, and Keith Moon was still actively recording and performing. By the late 1960s, particularly after the release of Tommy in May 1969, The Who had earned a reputation as one of the premier live rock acts globally. Recognizing the significance of their live performances alongside the rock opera format of Tommy, the band scheduled two specific shows in England – at the University of Leeds and in Hull – with the express intention of recording and releasing a definitive live album.
