Released in 2010, the album was produced and mixed by Nick Raskulinecz (Alice in Chains, Coheed & Cambria, Foo Fighters) and recorded and engineered by Paul Figueroa. Diamond Eyes delivers a powerful blend of muscular intensity and expansive atmospheric clarity, marking another evolution in the band’s ever-growing sonic range. The album also represents former Quicksand bassist Sergio Vega’s recording debut with Deftones, stepping in for bassist Chi Cheng following his serious car accident in November 2008.
