The BOSS OS-2 Overdrive/Distortion Effects Pedal allows players the choice between overdrive or distortion, or lets them combine both for a blended sound - all packed into a single, lightweight (400g), compact pedal.
The pedal provides both "over-the-top" distortion sounds and less extreme overdrive tones for rhythm playing, maintaining the subtle nuances of single-coil guitar pickups. It includes Level, Drive, Tone and Color controls, delivering precise tonal shaping for the player. The pedal can be used with a Dry 9V Battery (6F22/9 V) or an AC Adaptor.
