This is a limited edition crystal clear vinyl LP pressing of Alone Together by Chet Baker & Bill Evans. Although both were highly lyrical and introspective players who could have formed a marvellous team, Chet Baker and Bill Evans only recorded together on a couple of occasions. By the time these recordings were made in 1958–59, Chet Baker—who began recording in 1952—had been a star for less than a decade. Originally issued in 1958 as CHET: The Lyrical Trumpet of Chet Baker, this album is purely instrumental and also features contributions from Herbie Mann, Pepper Adams, and Kenny Burrell.
